As a manager in Programme Leadership you will focus on three main activities:

Delivery management:

  • Lead critical projects and programmes successfully, e.g. through management of the inter-dependencies between work streams.
  • Set up and lead efficient project controls and PMOs.
  • Ensure high-quality progress reporting, risk management and financial controls in relation to the programme or project.
  • Deliver a portfolio of programme or project management disciplines, e.g. benefit tracking, issue/risk management and business case development.
  • Lead shared client/Deloitte teams to deliver in line with client expectations.

Business development:

  • Develop and cultivate strong long-term client relationships.
  • Play an active role in identifying sales opportunities and developing business development opportunities.
  • Lead the delivery of proposals that exceed expectations.

Organisational development:

  • Participate in Deloitte's PL business development, e.g. support of the development of thought leadership material.
  • Support the success of our talents, e.g. as mentor and coach.

To qualify for the role, you have 6-8 years of documented experience in project and programme management. You could have achieved this experience from working as a project or programme leader for a renowned consultancy firm or a large company in the private sector. The experience could also be from leadership roles on large programmes in the public sector, where you have gained valuable personal management and leadership experience.

We expect that you have experience in sales, design, development and delivery of large programmes or project initiatives as well as proven experience and the ability to lead small teams and manage engagements on time and within budget. Additionally, we expect that you have project management qualifications (MSP, Prince2, PMP) and a comprehensive understanding of the majority of programme and project management techniques; change management and transformation initiatives.

You are an ambitious teammate with excellent communication, collaborative and interpersonal skills that enable you to lead and work well in teams from diverse backgrounds and cultures, operate with senior level executives and successfully manage client expectations.

You hold a relevant master’s degree, are fluent in written and spoken Danish or are willing to learn Danish, have a high proficiency in English and have permission to live and work in Denmark. Furthermore, you should be prepared to travel periodically if required.
